Contemplation

July 31, 2007 at 7:44 am (Life in general)

To leave the blog world or not to leave the blog world. I’m finding keeping up with this thing incredibly difficult at the present time, and I feel bad that some people keep coming here only to find nothing new written. When work, family duties, mission work, and such begin picking up, blogging seems to be pushed to the back burner. I’d like to set up a site particularly about our mission work, and perhaps I’ll get something like that going–something that doesn’t need to be updated all the time.

I’m just contemplating. No decision has been made yet.

You shouldn’t feel obligated to produce blog content at any particular speed, unless you promise it explicitly on the blog. Nobody whose blog i read updates it at regular intervals. It’s really not a requirement of tech etiquette. Just blog when you have something to say and you want to say it.

There’s a thing called RSS which allows people using modern browsers like Safari and Firefox, to see with the bookmark weather you’ve written new posts or not. Your blog has an RSS link down in the bottom right, so you have provided a means for your readers to avoid the blind checking.

I second the last comment. Let me know if you continue and I’ll add your feed.
